Russell Springs is located in southern Kentucky on the west end of huge
Lake Cumberland. Following are directions to the theater once you arrive
at the city.
From the east (Somerset): Take the Russell Springs exit off the
Cumberland Parkway, turn LEFT at the junction with US-127. At the first
stoplight (Arby's), turn LEFT onto Maple Street (KY-619). Follow that
road across the four-way stop until you come to a T-intersection with
Main Street (KY-379). Turn LEFT there, the theater is just ahead on the
left.
From the west (Columbia): If coming by the Cumberland Parkway,
take the Russell Springs exit, then turn RIGHT onto US-127. At the first
stoplight (Arby's), turn LEFT onto Maple Street (KY-619). Follow that
road across the four-way stop until you come to a T-intersection with
Main Street (KY-379). Turn LEFT there, the theater is just ahead on the
left.
If coming by KY-80, shortly after entering the Russell Springs city
limit, you will pass a water tower on your right. When the road splits
at a Y intersection, take the right angle. Proceed a block to the
stoplight. That is Main Street, where you turn LEFT. The Star is just
ahead on your right.

From the north (Liberty): Heading south on US-127, at the first
stoplight in Russell Springs, turn RIGHT onto KY-80. Follow that road
past the Shell station and down the slight hill. At the small traffic
turn lane, turn LEFT onto Main Street (KY-379). Follow Main Street a
short distance until you pass the post office and are in the business
district. The Star Theater is just ahead on your left.
From the south (Jamestown): Heading north on US-127 in Russell
Springs, after you pass Russell County High School on your right, you
will come to a traffic island. Turn LEFT there onto Lakeway Drive
(KY-430). Follow Lakeway Drive across the Cumberland Parkway. At the Y
intersection, keep going straight (the left angle). Around the following
curve to the left, proceed to the stoplight. That is Main Street, where
you turn RIGHT. The Star is just ahead on your right.
